Ready Set Declutter Professional Organizing in Orlando Florida, nominated for the Best of Florida Awards in 2026

Okay, I have to share this because I'm genuinely so excited. Ready Set Declutter has been nominated for a Best of Florida award in the Other Home Service Contractors category, and I cannot stop smiling about it.

If you want to vote for us, here's all you need to know: voting is open now through July 31, and you can vote once every single day, so this isn't a one-and-done thing. Every day between now and the end of July is another chance to throw your support behind us.

Here's how to vote:

  1. Go to guidetoflorida.com/best-of/vote/contractors

  2. Scroll to "Other Home Service Contractors"

  3. Find Ready Set Declutter on the list

  4. Submit your vote

  5. Come back tomorrow and do it again

And if you've got friends or family who could use a daily two-minute task to feel productive, send them the link too, hehe. Every vote moves the needle.

Why this nomination means so much

I started Ready Set Declutter because I am the target client. I grew up in a cluttered house and spent years thinking that meant something was wrong with me and that I was lazy, or messy, or just bad at keeping my space clean. Turns out I just needed the right systems and support, and that's the exact thing we now help our clients find.

So when I say this nomination feels personal, I mean it. It's not just "we did good work and got noticed." It's confirmation that the brain-friendly, ADHD-informed way we approach organizing is actually landing with people, in a way that the more generic "throw some bins at it" approach to organizing never did for me.

Every home we walk into is different and whether it's a studio apartment, a five-bedroom house with three kids and a dog, a garage that hasn't seen the floor since 2019, we tailor every single plan to the actual person living in that space, not some picture perfect template.

What our clients are saying

We're so lucky to get to do this work, and even luckier that our clients let us into their homes and trust us with the stuff (literal and emotional) that's been weighing on them. A few things people have told us recently:

  • "I truly cannot express how life-changing this has been for me. For the first time in my life, even going back to childhood, I feel real hope that I can live in a calm, peaceful, organized home."

  • "Working with Lastree at Ready Set Declutter was an incredible experience! Our virtual organizing session was extremely effective."

  • "Lastree saved me; when I reached out to her I was just starting to recover from

    severe depression and anxiety."

It's never really about the bins. It's about SO MUCH MORE. It's being able to park your car in your garage again after many years, your kids being able to enjoy their playroom again or walking into your kitchen and actually feeling excited about cooking. That's the work.

Why voting and supporting a small business like ours matters

Every vote is a small thing that adds up to something bigger. When you support local businesses like ours, you're helping:

  • Keep money and momentum in the local economy

  • Push the bar up for what good service looks like

  • Recognize people who are genuinely working hard for their clients

  • Encourage other small businesses to keep showing up too

Winning this would without a doubt mean a lot to us, but it would also help with more visibility and more people finding us who actually need this kind of support, which is the whole goal. So thank you in advance for your daily votes!

A few decluttering habits to keep things fresh between sessions

Whether or not you've worked with us before, here are a few small habits that keep clutter from creeping back in:

  • Do a quick sort and donate pass regularly ; don't wait for it to pile up

  • Use clear containers so you can actually see what's in them (out of sight really is out of mind especially when you're a fellow ADHDer)

  • Give frequently used items a designated home so you're not hunting for them every day

  • Put a catch all basket you can revisit once a week or biweekly wherever clutter builds up (for the days when quick resets are not possible...and be sure you don't let it pile up)

Small, consistent habits beat one big overwhelming purge every time.

Thank you for being part of this community and for supporting the work we do. If you haven't voted yet, here's the link and remember, you can vote daily through July 31!
